Capturing Peace is an amazing piece that speaks to Janet's values as an artist. Her two common themes are displaying emotions through color and challenging herself to try new things. This work does both. It is an example of Janet's exploration of using a pallet knife for painting and of her ability to capture the feeling of peace through calming colors and imagery.
