Vintage wooden convertible high chair to child play table or desk. Stylized flower carved on the inside chair back. Detachable tray with a metal slide locking mechanism. When opened to a play table, it sits on wheels at the back of the chair and front of the table/desk. Both chair and play table are sturdy, showing some signs of cosmetic wear but fully operational and functions as intended. Original finish. Condition is very good to excellent for the chair. Rubber is worn off some of the wheels. Needs cleaning of the metal parts and wheels.
Provenance includes a note written on the desk, "Jay Stephenson's high chair 1941."
